Aurora Forecast Maps
See the aurora forecast for tonight and tomorrow night
The aurora is a natural light display in the sky, primarily visible at high latitude regions. The best time to view the aurora is within an hour or two of midnight or 10 pm. The brightness and location of the aurora is typically shown as a green oval. The two maps show the aurora and viewline tonight and tomorrow night.
For the best viewing experience, the Space Weather Prediction Center recommends finding a location away from city lights where it is very dark.
